Ormai i The Game Awards con la loro mole di annunci e trailer rappresentano un momento attesissimo per i videogiocatori, al punto che quasi ci si dimentica il motivo per cui vengono fatti, ovvero premiare i migliori giochi dell’anno. Se non vedere quel capolavoro di Forza Horizon 5 in lizza per il titolo di gioco dell’anno ha creato più di qualche discussione, quantomeno veder trionfare quel capolavoro di It Takes Two dona speranza a chi è tuttora scettico sui criteri di valutazione adottati. Tra l’altro, vedere escluso Halo Infinite da qualsivoglia categoria è un peccato anch’esso.
