Un gioco tutto da… “ascoltare”!!!
Il flusso di news su GTA V sembra non avere fine, ma questa merita la vostra attenzione o meglio, il vostro ascolto. La Rockstar ha infatti pubblicato su iTunes la colonna sonora di Grand Theft Auto V, in tre volumi. L’accompagnamento audio è sempre stato uno degli aspetti più importanti dei loro titoli e già da qualche anno si è notato un occhio di riguardo verso il mondo indie/alternative con alcuni dei più importanti nomi di questa brulicante scena (basti ricordare la stupenda “Far Away” di José González in Red Dead Redemption o l’intera colonna sonora di Max Payne 3 curata dagli HEALTH (memorabile il brano finale, “Tears”, nella parte finale all’aeroporto) .
Nel primo volume della colonna sonora di GTA V ci sono i brani composti appositamente per le radio del gioco da artisti del calibro di Flying Lotus, Tyler the Creator, Wavves, Twin Shadow, Neon Indian, HEALTH, OFF!, A$AP Rocky e Yeasayer. Il secondo volume è la raccolta della soundtrack vera e propria, composta da Tangerine Dream, the Alchemist, Oh No e dal compositore Woody Jackson (remixata poi da DJ Shadow per questa release). Nel terzo volume è presente una selezioni di brani non originali inseriti nelle 17 radio del gioco, molte delle quali sono state curate da alcuni di questi artisti, tra cui Flying Lotus, Wavves e Twin Shadow.
